Atomic Bomb dome in central Hiroshima. The title refers to the way many of the witness accounts described the flash of light as the atomic bomb exploded - comparing it to that of a magnesium flame.
Alot of Hiroshima's monuments are based around the typical saying of 'to forget history is to repeat it'. It's such a pro-active city that suffered so much, it was so sad being there
I can imagine, I've only seen pictures of it, I've remember a friend made a scrapbook with different pictures from there and there was a particular one where the time a been frozen in one clock at the exact time the bomb fell, it's horrible..
I love the look of old, abandoned, degenerated buildings.

I can't even imagine what it was like to witness something like that. It must have felt like the apocalypse.
Agreed. It's a great photo but the reality of what is being shown is tragic.
